BETA FPV F411 4S 20A Toothpick Brushless Flight Controller V5 BLHeli_S (BMI270)
As a continuation of the F411 chip, the V5 FC board is upgraded from the F4 20A V3 FC board. F411 4S 20A Toothpick Brushless Flight Controller V5 adopts BMI270 gyro instead of MPU6000 on the V3 board. With built-in two plug&play ports for receiver and HD digital VTX, it is easy to install and requires less soldering work. In addition, the board is a solid value for long-lasting use due to the high-quality PCB material and improved manufacturing process.

Note: F411 4S 20A FC V5 is available to flash BLHeli_S and BLUEJAY ESC firmware, and comes with default BLHeliI_S firmware. The main difference is that BLUEJAY firmware supports bidirectional D-shot, while BLHeli_S does not support it.
Comparison with F411 4S 20A V3 FC
We have upgraded the F411 4S 20A V3 board to V5 by adopting BMI270 gyro instead of MPU6000 and adding some new features. The BMI270 gyro works great in most cases, especially at low frequency. Unlike the V3 board which supports JST1.25 connectors, the motor solder pads on the V5 board are only solderable and strengthened by thick copper and edge plating technology, allowing for lower resistance for higher current on the motors. In addition, the V5 FC board features high-quality material for soldering stability and durability of use. The pictures below show the difference between the two flight controllers.

The board integrates 3 LEDs, including the power LED (red), the FC LED (blue) and the receiver LED.
External VTX digital RX/HD connection
F411 4S 20A FC V5 integrates Plug & Play port for external RX and HD digital VTX, and there will be a 4-pin connector for RX and a 6-pin connector for HD digital VTX in the package. So we highly recommend pilots to use the port to save the soldering work.
FC and ESC Firmware
The default firmware includes CLI dump file. But if you flash firmware from Betaflight configurator official website, you will flash CLI dump file for F411 4S 20A FC V5. We offer default firmware and CLI dump file for download.
The BMI270 gyro will need more software filters and is sensitive to high frequencies. This can be solved by adjusting the filter settings in the PID optimization. The default Betaflight or BETAFPV CLI and FC firmware dump file do not include filter settings. For pilots who want to configure it, we recommend setting the low gyro 2 to 145Hz and choosing the filter type to PT2.
F411 4S 20A FC V5 is available to flash BLHeli_S and BLUEJAY ESC firmware, and it comes with default BLHeliI_S firmware. The main difference is that BLUEJAY firmware supports bidirectional D-shot, while BLHeli_S does not support it. Here are the download links for two firmwares.

Return Policy
You can return products that you are not satisfied with within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, the product must be in the same condition in which you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in the original packaging. Damaged or incorrect goods

Exceptions / Non-returnable items

Under the 24-month Legal Guarantee, Drone24Hours is responsible to the consumer for any defects in conformity that cannot be detected at the time of purchase.
The lack of conformity exists when the product is not suitable for the use for which it is normally intended, does not conform to the description or does not possess the qualities promised by the seller, does not offer the qualities and performances usual for a good of the same type, is not suitable for the particular use desired by the consumer if brought to the attention of the seller at the time of purchase and accepted by the seller (art. 129 of the Consumer Code).
Any lack of conformity which becomes apparent within 24 months of the date of purchase of the goods must be reported within 2 months of the date of discovery of the defect.
Unless proven otherwise, it is presumed that any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 6 months of delivery of the goods already existed on that date. In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer has the right to have the conformity of the goods restored, free of charge, by repair or replacement (art. 130 of the Consumer Code).
The consumer may ask, at his choice, the seller to repair the goods or replace them, free of charge in both cases, unless the requested remedy is objectively impossible or excessively expensive compared to the other. Repairs or replacements must be carried out within a reasonable time from the request of the Consumer; the average time for returning the product to the Consumer is 20 days.
If Drone24hours is unable to return the repaired product within the maximum period of 60 days, the consumer may request one of the alternative remedies (replacement, termination of the contract, price reduction).
Drone24Hours will send the product for any repairs to the Technical Assistance Center authorized by the Manufacturer.
What happens if the Service Center does not find the lack of conformity?
If the lack of conformity is not found, Drone24Hours will communicate the estimate to the Customer, who can decide whether or not to carry out the repair at his own expense. In this case, any transport costs and diagnosis of the defect requested by the Assistance Center will be borne by the Customer.
