ELRS 2.4GHz Micro Receiver
The BETAFPV micro receiver is based on the ExpressLRS project, an open source RC link for RC applications. ExpressLRS aims to achieve the best possible link performance in terms of speed, latency and range. This makes ExpressLRS one of the fastest RC links available while still offering long range performance.
ExpressLRS PWM Receivers
ExpressLRS now supports direct PWM output from receivers specifically designed for this mode. The BETAFPV ELRS micro receiver features PWM output for application on fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, RC cars, boats, etc. and supports failsafe function, which can protect RC models from losing control. In addition, the plug-and-play design makes it very easy and intuitive to use.
Note: To work with PWM receiver, make sure the TX and RX firmware is ELRS V2.0.0.
BETAFPV ExpressLRS Receivers
Choosing a suitable receiver for flying your quadcopter or other RC models is very important. BETAFPV ExpressLRS receivers, including ELRS Lite, Nano, Micro and the newest SuperD, largely meet the pilots' requirements for FPV flight.

Characteristics
Below is the schematic of the ELRS micro receiver.
Note: The firmware version of the micro receiver produced by our company is ELRS 2.0.0. ELRS Innovative team has officially released version 2.0.0, which is not compatible with version 1.x. Significantly, the TX module and the receiver must be the same ELRS version, otherwise the frequency cannot match properly.
Note: The micro receiver also supports CRSF flash output firmware, in this case CH2 corresponds to TX and CH3 corresponds to RX.
Learn more about ExpressLRS
ExpressLRS is an open source RC binding for RC applications. Everyone could find this project on Github .
ExpressLRS is based on Semtech Lora Hardware SX127x or SX1280 for RX and TX respectively. It aims to achieve the best possible link performance in terms of speed, latency and range. At 900MHz a maximum packet rate of 200Hz is supported. At 2.4GHz a whopping 500Hz is currently supported with a custom OpenTX build. This makes ExpressLRS one of the fastest RC links available while still offering long range performance.
More and more suppliers are starting to support the ExpressLRS radio protocol in different parts, such as radio transmitter with ELRS in stock, drone with integrated ELRS receiver, ELRS TX module for JR bay or Nano bay. BETAFPV team is taking part in this project and provides a series of ExpressLRS components.
Binding procedure
The Micro receiver comes with the official protocol V2.0.0 and has not been set for a binding phrase. So make sure that the RF TX module works with the official protocol of the main version V2.0.0 and no binding phrase has been set in advance.
- Enter linking mode by connecting and disconnecting the Micro Receiver three times;
- Make sure the LED flashes twice, this indicates that the Micro Receiver is in pairing mode;
- Make sure the RF TX module or radio transmitter also enters binding mode, which sends out a binding pulse;
- When the LED light is solid, it indicates that the devices have been paired successfully.
Note: Once the devices are successfully paired, the receiver will memorize the pairing information. There would be no need to reconnect for next use as the devices would be connected automatically.
Note: If you reflash the firmware of the micro receiver with your own binding phrase, make sure the RF TX module has the same binding phrase to perform an automatic binding.
Failsafe and PWM output
When the connection or signal is lost between the radio transmitter and receiver, the failsafe function will adjust all channels to the failsafe values set by users, maintaining maximum safety and preventing them from flying away. It is necessary to set the failsafe values correctly if you are not using a flight controller, such as a fixed-wing RC airplane.
- Turn on the Micro receiver and wait 20 seconds without binding it.
- When the indicator flashes quickly, the receiver's WiFi has been activated.
- Connect WiFi via computer or mobile phone.
- Wi-Fi Name: ExpressLRS RX
- WiFi PWD: expresslrs
- Open the website address: http://10.0.0.1 and set your failsafe values.
Note: Failsafe values are absolute and do not use the "invert" flag.
The LED status indication of the micro receiver is shown below.
Indicator status | Sense |
Fixed on | Connected successfully |
Double flash | Binding state |
Flashing slowly | Connection failed |
Flashing fast | Wi-Fi update status |

Under the 24-month Legal Guarantee, Drone24Hours is responsible to the consumer for any defects in conformity that cannot be detected at the time of purchase.
The lack of conformity exists when the product is not suitable for the use for which it is normally intended, does not conform to the description or does not possess the qualities promised by the seller, does not offer the qualities and performances usual for a good of the same type, is not suitable for the particular use desired by the consumer if brought to the attention of the seller at the time of purchase and accepted by the seller (art. 129 of the Consumer Code).
Any lack of conformity which becomes apparent within 24 months of the date of purchase of the goods must be reported within 2 months of the date of discovery of the defect.
Unless proven otherwise, it is presumed that any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 6 months of delivery of the goods already existed on that date. In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer has the right to have the conformity of the goods restored, free of charge, by repair or replacement (art. 130 of the Consumer Code).
The consumer may ask, at his choice, the seller to repair the goods or replace them, free of charge in both cases, unless the requested remedy is objectively impossible or excessively expensive compared to the other. Repairs or replacements must be carried out within a reasonable time from the request of the Consumer; the average time for returning the product to the Consumer is 20 days.
If Drone24hours is unable to return the repaired product within the maximum period of 60 days, the consumer may request one of the alternative remedies (replacement, termination of the contract, price reduction).
Drone24Hours will send the product for any repairs to the Technical Assistance Center authorized by the Manufacturer.
What happens if the Service Center does not find the lack of conformity?
If the lack of conformity is not found, Drone24Hours will communicate the estimate to the Customer, who can decide whether or not to carry out the repair at his own expense. In this case, any transport costs and diagnosis of the defect requested by the Assistance Center will be borne by the Customer.
